Graduates earn 8,756 degrees, certificates from Kaplan University-Davenport Campus

About 43.2 percent of the 8,756 degrees and certificates handed out by Kaplan University-Davenport Campus in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Davenport conferred 1182 bachelor's degrees and 1052 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in medical insurance specialist/medical biller. Data shows the school gave out 554 certificates in medical insurance specialist/medical biller, followed by 547 associate's degrees in general health and wellness and 414 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 30,512 students for 2017-18, including 23,186 in undergraduate programs and 7,326 in graduate programs.
