Scott County receives presidential disaster declaration in response to August storm damage

Scott County has been identified as one of the Iowa counties eligible for federal aid under a Presidential Disaster Declaration for Public Assistance due to August storms that struck the region.

Muscatine Hy-Vee stores make donations to Freedom Rock, Center for Social Action

Hy-Vee recently donated $2,000 to the Muscatine County Freedom Rock project for a capstone paver, as well as a donation of 35 pairs of new shoes to the Muscatine Center for Social Action.

Scott County Jail releases 50 inmates to address COVID-19 concerns
