On June 17, 2025, Miller-Meeks tweeted about her visit to Bobby’s Asian Cuisine during the tour's fourth stop. She noted that "Bobby shared how eliminating taxes on tips and cutting taxes for family-run restaurants helps his staff and keeps his business thriving, and selling his top menu item, Pho."
Later that day, she posted about the fifth and final stop at Sal Vitale’s Italian Restaurant. According to her tweet "Their homemade pizza is now headed to Hy-Vee shelves, an exciting milestone for a great local business." She emphasized the benefits of tax cuts like those in the Big Beautiful Bill.
The following day, on June 18, 2025, Miller-Meeks commented on immigration policy with a tweet stating "The Trump Effect is real!" She compared recent immigration statistics under different administrations: "In May, not a single illegal immigrant was released into the U.S., compared to 62,000 last May under the Biden Administration."
Miller-Meeks has been serving in Congress since replacing Dave Loebsack in 2021. Prior to this role, she served in the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021.
