Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks, representing Iowa's 1st District and a veteran with 24 years of service in the Army, will participate in a military parade alongside President Donald J. Trump. The event is scheduled for Saturday in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Army.

Miller-Meeks expressed her sentiments about joining the celebration: “As a 24-year Army veteran, I'm honored to be joining President Trump in our nation’s capital for the military parade commemorating the 250th birthday of the United States Army.” She emphasized that this occasion serves as "a powerful tribute to the service and sacrifice of generations of soldiers who have defended our freedom and upheld the values that make America the greatest nation on earth."

The event highlights both historical significance and ongoing appreciation for those who have served in defense of national ideals.
