On Saturday, March 8, former Muscatine High School standout Ysabel Lerma’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, March 8, former Muscatine High School standout Ysabel Lerma’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 11:15 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Slippery Rock The Rock.
