North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Saturday, May 3

On Saturday, May 3, former North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at UNI-Dome. This was their second matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Valparaiso Beacons.
