Wednesday, April 16: Pleasant Valley High School standout Sam George’s college team wins to Northwestern Red Raiders

On Wednesday, April 16, former Pleasant Valley High School standout Sam George’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 18-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwestern Red Raiders.

The game took place at Baseball Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Red Raiders this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at UMC Baseball Field against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
