Tuesday, March 25: North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s college team wins to Illinois Fighting Illini

On Tuesday, March 25, former North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Bradley Braves.
