North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, Feb. 21

On Friday, Feb. 21, former North Scott High School standout Maddy McDermott’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place at Pepsi Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Pepsi Stadium against Furman Paladins.
