On Friday, Feb. 21, former Assumption High School standout Bella Nigey’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their first matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. at Boseman Field against Rider Broncs.
