Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) released a statement following the Supreme Court's decision on presidential immunity.

"I applaud the Supreme Court’s ruling that President Trump is presumptively immune from official acts taken while in office," Miller-Meeks stated. "Democrats denigrate and undermine the Court when it issues a decision they disagree with. They should be reminded that this is the same Supreme Court that recently rejected a challenge to mifepristone. The Supreme Court appears to be adhering to the Constitution and fairly applying the law. Despite potential Democrat efforts, President Trump should not be abridged of further legal rights and options."

She added, "Meanwhile, I remain focused on delivering for Iowans hurting from Biden’s runaway inflation and disastrous border crisis."
