The IDOT is expected to complete bridge rehabilitation around October 5. Once the bridge is done, finish work such as traffic lines on the adjacent road can be finished. The stretch is expected to re-open by October 10.

We have received several inquiries regarding the status of the N Division St reconstruction and IDOT bridgework project between 76th Street and the Soccer Complex. While Division St reconstruction will be substantially complete by mid-July, IDOT bridge work will not be complete until late September/early October. The road cannot be re-opened until bridge work is done. Adjacent work on the Research Parkway connection is expected to be complete in late July/early August.

Update on Division St reconstruction and IDOT bridgework between 76th St and the Soccer Complex. Reconstruction is estimated to be complete in early July. DOT bridgework will begin mid-June and continue through late August, early September.

03/18/22

Division St will be closed from W 76th St to the middle entrance of the Davenport Soccer Complex beginning Monday, March 21, for street reconstruction and bridgework. The City and the Iowa DOT are coordinating the projects and anticipate all work will be complete in August/September.

Access to the soccer field and businesses will be maintained. Motorists will want to follow the signed detour.

Travelers wondering what is happening to the west may also be interested in knowing that Research Parkway is being extended to Division St.

Lots of work is happening in this spot. Stay alert, slow down, and stay safe when traveling in the area.
