City of Muscatine issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
Parking restrictions will be in place on West 8th street from Spruce down to Linn next week starting at 7 a.m. Monday, December 7, as the final cleanup for Phase 4C of the West Hill Sanitary and Storm Sewer Separation Project wraps up.
KE Flatwork, Inc., will be cleaning the joints and then tarring the joints next week with no parking signs put in place Friday morning for the one block of West 8th Street. The work should be completed by midweek, weather permitting.
Final landscaping, cleanup, and completion of punch list items will occur most of next week. West 8th Street was reopened to traffic in November and will remain open as the cleanup is completed.
