City of Davenport issued the following announcement on Nov. 9
Congratulations to The Family Restaurant and owners Pete and Kathy Hasakis for being named a Foundation of Our Community by Mayor Frank Klipsch.
The Family Restaurant opened its doors in 1987 at 902 W. Kimberly Road after Pete and Kathy made their way to Davenport after Pete worked in Chicago 10 years.
Immediately on arrival, Pete and Kathy felt an overwhelming sense of welcome and feel well supported by the community in the 32 years since they opened their doors.
Thank you to The Family Restaurant and Pete and Kathy for being a Foundation of our Community.
