City of Bettendorf issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.
City Hall will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019.
No collection services on November 11. All collection services including garbage, recycling, bulky, and yard waste will be moved one day later in the week to include Saturday, November 16. Items should be placed at curbside by 7:00 a.m. For more information call 563-344-4088.
Normal schedule for transit buses. All Veterans can ride the buses for free during the week of November 11.
Library will be open 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Family Museum open 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Normal class schedule.
Community Center offices will be closed.
Palmer Hills Golf Course will be open, weather permitting.
A Veteran’s Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 1645 23rd Street.
Mayor Bob Gallagher and Alderman Greg Adamson will be on hand, along with the commanders from the VFW, VVA, and American Legion. The key note speaker will be US Army LTC Jeno Berta, JAG Officer.
Free event. Light refreshments available.
