Where: DeWitt, Iowa
On Sunday, October 13, 2019 beginning at 11 a.m. the Marketers of DeWitt (MOD) group will host the 5th annual DeWitt’s Great Pumpkin Festival in downtown DeWitt. This is a yearly community event that will host a great array of activities for the family. Some of the events include Pumpkin Derby Car Races, Pumpkin Painting, Kids Games including Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Sling Shot, and Haystack Find, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Kids and/or Pet Costume Parade and Fall Baking Contest! Craft and food vendors will line 6th Avenue in Downtown DeWitt.
“We will have lots of fun things for people to do during this one day festival” said Crystal Gray, MOD member. “People love fall activities and this event will appeal to everyone in the family. Since DeWitt is only 20 minutes North on Hwy 61 from the Quad Cities, it’s an easy drive to our quaint little town. We encourage people to get out of the city and experience this event.
