DeWitt Chamber and Development Company issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.

Kaytlinn Barr has always enjoyed helping others. So when she heard about an opportunity to help others with their financial freedom, she didn’t want to miss the opportunity.

First Central State Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Kaytlinn Barr as a Customer Service Representative in the DeWitt location.

“Banking is a great career because it opens up many opportunities,” Barr said. “And it’s especially great when working at First Central State Bank when you are a part of a family that also gives back to the community. You get the opportunity to help make the financial lives of others better and build those relationships that will last a long time.”

First Central Chief Executive Officer Brigham Tubbs said Barr will add to the bank’s already established culture of caring for the community.

“We’re excited to welcome Kaytlinn to our team,” Tubbs said. “Her background in helping others will fit in nicely with our approach to community banking.”

Barr graduated from Central DeWitt High School in 2016.
