Riverdale home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Riverdale fell by $22,300 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,700 - a 8.2% decrease over the $272,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were five homes sold in Riverdale in 2017.

The median sales tax in Riverdale for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,294, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for 2018.
