Le Claire home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Le Claire rose by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 23.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $269,000 - a 6.7% increase over the $252,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Le Claire in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Le Claire for 2017 was $3,374. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,424. This marks an decrease of 1.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
