Buffalo home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Buffalo fell by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,000 - a 14.3% decrease over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Buffalo in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Buffalo for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,594, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
