Bettendorf home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Bettendorf fell by $72,400 while total sales increased by 45.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,500 - a 29% decrease over the $249,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Bettendorf in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Bettendorf for 2017 was $3,516. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,188. This marks an increase of 10.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
