On September 1, 2025, Miller-Meeks posted: "Happy Labor Day! From family farms to shop floors, job sites to main streets, today we celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep our communities strong. Grateful for the grit, skill, and spirit that power Iowa and America."

Miller-Meeks has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Dave Loebsack. Before her tenure in Washington D.C., she was an Iowa state senator from 2019 until her election to Congress. Born in Herlong, California in 1955 and currently residing in Le Claire, Miller-Meeks holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University.
