Miller-Meeks began serving as a U.S. Congresswoman for Iowa’s 1st District after replacing Dave Loebsack in 2021. She previously held office in the Iowa Senate between 2019 and 2021. Born in Herlong, California in 1955 and currently residing in Le Claire, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Christian University.
