Miller-Meeks succeeded Dave Loebsack in Congress after serving in the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021. She was born in Herlong, California in 1955 and now resides in Le Claire. In addition to her political career, she holds a BSN from Texas Christian University earned in 1976.
