Today, Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks introduced a bill to rename the U.S. Post Office at 1019 Avenue H in Fort Madison, Iowa, as the "Martin L. Graber Post Office." This legislation honors Martin Graber, a former Iowa State Representative and veteran of the Iowa Army National Guard.
The initiative is supported by Iowa Representatives Ashley Hinson and Randy Feenstra. Rep. Miller-Meeks emphasized Graber's embodiment of "faith, family, and service," adding that naming the post office after him ensures his legacy continues.
Rep. Hinson expressed pride in supporting the renaming, highlighting Graber's patriotism and dedication to Iowans. Rep. Feenstra also voiced support for the gesture as a tribute to Graber's service both in the legislature and as a Brigadier General in the National Guard.
