Later that day, she shared details about a meeting with Dr. Sukrith Ganesan from the Iowa College of Dentistry to address health issues affecting Iowans: "I met with Dr. Sukrith Ganesan from the Iowa College of Dentistry to discuss how obesity and poor dental health affect one another, and what we can do to combat both." The post underscored her ongoing focus on public health initiatives.
On July 22, Miller-Meeks expressed gratitude toward local agricultural supporters: "Thank you @Iowa_Corn for backing the One Big Beautiful Bill. I’ll always stand with Iowa’s corn farmers and this bill delivers the relief and certainty they’ve earned."
Miller-Meeks has represented Iowa's 1st District in Congress since succeeding Dave Loebsack in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021. Born in Herlong, California in 1955 and currently residing in Le Claire, she holds a BSN from Texas Christian University (1976).
