Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa's 1st district since 2021, recently expressed her enthusiasm on social media regarding the passage of a significant legislative bill. She shared her reactions through several tweets on July 3, 2025.

In her first tweet of the day, Rep. Miller-Meeks announced, "President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill has PASSED the House! " This message indicates her support and excitement for the legislative success in the House.

Shortly after, she tweeted again stating, "Today is a historic day for our country! The One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House and is headed to @POTUS’s desk! " Her words emphasize the significance of this development as it moves forward to the President's desk.

In another post made minutes later, Rep. Miller-Meeks succinctly conveyed her exhilaration with "IT PASSED!!! ", further underlining her enthusiastic response to the bill's progress.

Miller-Meeks has been actively serving in Congress since replacing Dave Loebsack in 2021. Before that, she was part of the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021. Born in Herlong, California in 1955 and now residing in Le Claire, she holds a BSN from Texas Christian University obtained in 1976.
