2022/2023 Snow and Ice Event Response

Crews were called in earlier this morning to begin responding to heavy wet snow that arrived. Approximately three to four inches has fallen, and another two to three inches is expected by noon. Snow has resulted in downed power lines and trees. Forestry crews are working on removing trees fallen in the right-of-way, and MidAmerican Energy is restoring power in a few areas. Travel will be slick throughout the day. Take it slow. Snow teams will continue clearing Posted Snow Routes until the snow ends and routes are clear. Expect melting to begin almost immediately after the snow leaves the area.
