Building Your Hive

Building Your Hive is a free, in-person, 3-day program focused on connecting first-generation and underrepresented minority first-year students to the community and resources at SAU.
Who is invited to attend?
First-year students who plan to enroll at St. Ambrose University in Fall 2022. Local Quad Cities-area residents who identify as first-generation students or Black/African American, Chicano/Latino, Native American or Asian.
Program Benefits:
- Head start on everything you will need to be successful at SAU - resources, study skills, and time management
- Opportunity to build relationships with your peers before classes start
- Paired with a university mentor throughout the year for guidance and support
- Meet the university President before you start school
- 3 days of free breakfast and lunch
- Shared suite and dinner at Modern Woodmen Park baseball stadium
- All participants will be entered for a chance to win an iPad (8th Generation 32GB)
