Artist/printer Julie Russell-Steuart was awarded a FY2022 grant from the Iowa Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts for her project Power of the Press IOWA. Her poster printing workshop and talk will teach participants how to use the power of the press to advocate for their own important ideas and causes. The workshop will have a talk/examples component as we go over some history of using posters for activism, then the writing and printing,
