Muscatine man faces five charges of indecent exposure

City of Muscatine issued the following announcement on August 24.

A Muscatine man has been charged with five counts of Indecent Exposure following several incidents on the Muscatine High School property Monday.

The Muscatine Police Department received a report Monday (August 23) that a male was exposing himself to female students on Muscatine High School property. The suspected individual left the high school property in a vehicle prior to officers arriving but a description was obtained and relayed to the responding officers. 

Responding officers located the suspect vehicle traveling along Houser Street and conducted a traffic stop. Further investigation determined that Jacob Morales, 05/08/86, of 1818 Schiller Street, Muscatine, was the individual suspected of committing these acts. Morales was placed under arrest and charged with five (5) counts of Indecent Exposure. 

The investigation into Morales’ behavior is ongoing and anyone who may have additional information is asked to contact Lt. David O’Connor at 563-263-9922 ext. 608. Morales is considered to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
