Muscatine County has received assistance from nationally-recognized company StriveTogether, an organization that aims to unite neighborhoods and use research to benefit children, according to Discover Muscatine.

The county has officially been granted a Strategic Initiatives Award.

Aligned Impact Muscatine County (AIM) is also stepping in to develop a strategy to fill gaps throughout the area.

“Aligned Impact Muscatine County has ambitious goals for our community to improve outcomes for all students and families. To reach these goals, we need to be innovative in the way our community partners work together, share data, align resources and engage our community," AIM Director Kim Warren told Discover Muscatine.

StriveTogether President and CEO Jennifer Blatz co-signed and said that it’s vital for neighborhood leaders to step in and help families in need.

“StriveTogether is investing to ensure leaders and staff reflect the diversity of the communities they serve to better support the success of every child,” she said, according to Discover Muscatine.
