Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks welcomed U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins to Iowa to showcase biofuels advancements in the state. Rollins, along with President Trump, unveiled the release of $537 million for 543 biofuel infrastructure projects across 29 states, including Iowa, as part of the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP).

“It was an honor to host Secretary Rollins and showcase how Iowa’s farmers and biofuels producers are powering America,” said Miller-Meeks. “This investment expands access to higher ethanol blends, strengthens energy independence, and supports our farm families.”

In Atlantic, speaking at Elite Octane, Secretary Rollins highlighted the program’s impact. “This funding helps retailers offer higher ethanol blends, ensuring a greater market for Iowa’s corn and soybean growers,” she stated. “President Trump is delivering on our commitment to farmers, ranchers, and small businesses.”

Rollins was joined by Iowa's Governor Kim Reynolds, Senator Joni Ernst, Representatives Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig, and Nick Bowdish, CEO of Elite Octane.

In Iowa's First District, six of the funded projects include ICC Motor Fuel 1 LLC with $1,842,000 to install 30 E15 dispensers and 13 ethanol storage tanks, R.A.M. Inc. with $834,000 for upgraded dispensers and storage tanks, and Mac's Convenience Stores LLC receiving $4,705,500 for new dispensers and storage across 23 stations.

Additionally, D&D Marion LLC will use $915,000 to enhance its station, Generational Fuel LLC will receive $177,750 for multiple dispensers, and County Automotive Services LLC will use $517,500 to improve its fueling station in Tipton.

These developments are set to boost ethanol and biofuel sales substantially, promoting renewable fuel access, benefiting Iowa’s economy, and supporting the nation's energy security.
