DAVENPORT — Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) announced today that she has submitted 15 Community Project Funding requests for Iowa’s First Congressional District. These projects, requested for Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations, will now be reviewed by the House Appropriations Committee.
“I am proud to submit 15 community projects that would greatly benefit Iowa’s First Congressional District,” said Miller-Meeks. “These initiatives range from investing in expanding trained workforce resources for local hospitals to rebuilding our aging infrastructure in the state and improving our wastewater facilities. Thank you to all who submitted applications for important projects and the countless local leaders for advocating for future investments in our community.”
