Census Bureau: 76.1% of people in Scott County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 174,170 citizens living in Scott County in 2021, 76.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 132,618 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 64,898 were male, constituting 48.9%, and 67,720 were female, making up 51.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Scott County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
