Garbage and Recycling Pick up

Date and Time: Monday, October 17⋅7:00 – 11:30am

Weekly on Monday

Description:

Garbage container should have a 4ft clearance all the way around the can.  Please do not place next to a mailbox, parked cars, or any signs.  Please place the lid so that the arrows are facing the street. 

Recyclables 

Oveson Refuse provides our recycling service. Refuse and recyclables are collected at the curb weekly on Monday. Each resident has been issued 2 bins a RED one and a Green one.   

Recycling Guide

PLASTICS, METAL, GLASS, AND CARDBOARD  Plastics:  Plastic bottle and dish containers with the recycle emblem #1-7 on bottom.  Containers washed, clean and co-mingled in container.  (Milk, water and juice jugs, detergent, soda and pop bottles and film canisters are accepted.) 

Metal:  Tin and aluminum food and beverage cans.  Labels must be removed and washed clean and co-mingled in container. 

Glass:  Clear, brown, blue and green bottles and jars.  All glass must be washed clean and co-mingled in container. 

Cardboard:  Corrugated or chip-board cardboard.  All cardboard must be flattened.  Large cardboard cut down into 2â��x2â�� pieces. 

Paper:  Newspaper, Magazines, phonebooks, junk-mail, computer paper and envelopes. 

EXAMPLES OF ITEMS THAT ARE NOT RECYCLABLE: Styrofoam products, plastic bags, toys, broken glass, window or mirror glass, cardboard not broken down, tissue paper and paper plates. 

ALL RECYCLABLES MUST BE CLEAN!!! 

Anything left in the recycling bin is considered trash.  Not all items can be recycled. Please dispose of properly.
