Bpaaschcamancheb

Clinton Area Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.

Brooke Paasch, 10th grade student at Camanche High School, held a drive for food/hygiene products, clothing, and cash donations from mid-October through November to aid disadvantaged Clinton County residents. Several bags of donated clothing, boxes of hygiene/food items, and approximately $59 were delivered to United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) in December. UWCCI will channel these donated items through local agencies such as The Associate Benevolent Society and Information, Referral, & Assistance Service.

Cheryl McCulloh, UWCCI Executive Director, comments, “It’s remarkable when a student contacts us about their community project, and we are very grateful for her thoughtfulness and desire to help those in need in our communities. It’s been a difficult year for everyone and every little bit helps.”
