CLINTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Citizens First Bank Announces New Board Appointment

Clinton Area Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 23. 

Citizens First Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Jens Baker to their board of directors.  Jens brings varied professional experience to the board, including his current role as Principal at Apex Construction Consultants, specializing in expert witness testimony for the construction industry.  Jens holds degrees in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, and his MBA with a specialty in Finance from the University of Central Florida College of Business.  His diverse business knowledge will be an asset to the team at CFB.

Senior Vice President – Senior Loan Officer Stephen Clements remarked, “Jens offers a unique perspective and expertise to our board of directors.  We welcome him to the leadership team.  We are pleased to work as an organization to uphold the bank’s mission and continue to develop our strategic plan.”

Citizens First Bank is the recent recipient of the Clinton Regional Development Corporation’s 2020 Innovation Award in recognition of significant recent upgrades to technology and user experience.  Chartered in 2000, Citizens First Bank plays an important role in community banking. Its products provide customers with effective, locally owned banking choices, the latest technology, and services expertise. Headquartered at 1442 Lincoln Way in Clinton, Citizens First Bank also has branches at 403 S Washington Blvd, Camanche and at 1329 N 2nd St, Clinton.  This year, Citizens First Bank is happy to be celebrating 20 years of Banking as it should be.
