City of Grand Mound issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
Must have the ability to obtain water and wastewater certificates as required within 1 year of hire. Must have a CDL (Class B with Air Brake endorsement).
Duties: Operation of the water and wastewater systems, general maintenance and repairs of all City owned and leased equipment, buildings, and grounds. Ground maintenance includes but is not limited to mowing and weed eating/weed control. Responsible for the supervision of part-time and seasonal employees. Responsible for snow removal and street maintenance/repairs. Responsible for curbside garbage, recycling, and compost pick-up. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City storm water system. Responsible for project management and obtaining bids. This is not an exclusive list and additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the City including being on call for City related emergencies.
